Shining Light has been a community outreach program of First Baptist since 1990. It is a Christian based preschool for 3 & 4 year olds.

The cirriculum is designed to help children develop the skills they will need as they enter the kindergarten enviornment. It also provides daily Bible exposure through stories, its characters, and its central message of love.

A big thank you to Leading Creek Volunteer Fire Department for coming by Shining Light to discuss fire safety with the children.  Each student received a gift bag filled with pencils, crayons, a fire education coloring book and a firefighter hat in celebration of the U.S. Fire Administration's 2017 Fire Prevention Week.
